Let’s lead with CURIOUS

hearts AND minds.

I’m Kathleen Fisher, a consultant and executive coach.  I enable individuals, leaders, and organizations to communicate and connect more effectively, so they can keep moving forward, creating results and working toward common goals.

We are inspired and empowered as individuals when we are heard – when our voice and our contribution are valued.

We succeed as interdependent teams, when we cultivate self-awareness, strengthen our working relationships and learn from each other – we succeed while honoring all.

The heart of everything I teach is how to coNNECT more powerfully.

How we communicate with each other can start within the walls of an organization, with its leaders, within a group or team - or within a family.

How we communicate can have a powerful impact on how we connect as individuals, as a culture, a community and as global citizens.

We all want to generate results. But we also want the best for the people around us.

When we lead with curious hearts and minds we can move our organizations, businesses and communities forward – and evolve the world.

An Abbreviated Biography

A Jersey girl by birth, I’ve lived, studied and worked in many places in the States and Europe. My Georgetown University undergraduate degree is in languages (I learned to speak French, Russian and Spanish as well as an infinitesimal amount of German); I’ve worked to overcome barriers to understanding and being confronted by change for nearly my entire career. I worked in Human Resources for more than 30 years, and completed a certificate program in Organization Systems and Development at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. I am a certified Executive Coach, trained at the Hudson Institute.

My most recent HR work in an aerospace components manufacturer focused on communications, change management and executive coaching. In particular the organization underwent significant cultural transformation with the arrival of a new CEO: footprint, structures and expectations dramatically evolved, requiring leaders to be supported through their own changes. In addition, the creation of a nine-month program for early career, high potential employees, defining their needs and two action learning projects, created a nascent talent pipeline for the C-suite.

Now, I focus on supporting diverse individuals and organizations, including corporations and communities, as they are confronted with the need to find processes and tools to systematize convergent communication. Integrating differing perspectives in respectful, non-blaming environments; creating a powerful, common vision facilitating optimal results: this is my work and my passion. I deliver transformational coaching and training for individuals, teams, leaders and organizations to move them to their ultimate goals.
